Privacy Policy

This policy explains the limited information collected when someone uses this site, why that information is used, and the situations in which it may be shared. By continuing to use the site, you accept the practices described on this page.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

When you enter a name, city, or other search detail into a search box on this site, the query is handled by the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies any results. We do not keep a separate local log of the search terms you submit.

Messages and Contact Submissions

If you email us, we may retain the message long enough to review it and respond. We do not circulate those messages outside our organization unless we are required to do so by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, routine server and analytics systems may collect basic technical details about the visit:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Which browser you are using and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
  • The site that sent you here, if any
  • Timestamps for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies, which are small files placed on your device. They help us understand traffic patterns, such as which Conway County record guides receive the most visits and where visitors leave the site. Analytics services may combine that activity into reports for us. You can block cookies in your browser settings, although some features may behave differently afterward.

What We Do With This Data

  • Operating the site and keeping pages available
  • Routing search-box entries to the appropriate partner service
  • Understanding which Conway County and Arkansas record topics visitors use most
  • Finding and fixing performance, display, or security issues
  • Supporting advertising that may be relevant to visitor interests

No Criminal-Record Data on File

This site does not maintain, compile, or sell databases of personal criminal-record information. We publish general guidance about where Conway County criminal records are held and how to request them from the sheriff and detention center, the Conway County courts, Arkansas State Police/ACIC criminal-history systems, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing we collect about visitors is assembled into consumer reports or records about third parties.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies power the search boxes that appear on some pages. Information submitted into those tools is governed by the partner's privacy policy rather than this policy. Those partners control their own retention, matching, billing, and sharing practices, so review their terms before submitting a search.

Links to Other Websites

We link to Conway County offices, Arkansas court and agency portals, registry resources, legal-information pages, and outside search tools. Once you leave this site, the destination site's privacy policy controls what happens there. Review that policy before providing personal information.

Advertising partners may also use their own systems to measure activity across websites and serve interest-based ads. That tracking is controlled by those partners, not by this site.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Limited information may be available to:

  • Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
  • Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on our pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

We use ordinary administrative, technical, and operational safeguards for the data we collect. No internet-connected service can be made completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

Users Under 18

This site is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor provided personal information, we will delete it when reasonably possible.

Your Data Rights

Depending on where you live, Arkansas privacy, data-security, and consumer-protection law may give you additional rights or remedies. Relevant Arkansas laws include the Personal Information Protection Act, Ark. Code Ann. 4-110-101 et seq.; the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Ark. Code Ann. 4-88-101 et seq.; the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. 25-19-101 et seq.; and Arkansas criminal-history dissemination rules, including Ark. Code Ann. 12-12-1501 et seq. At a minimum, you can:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing

Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date, so this page is the place to check for the current version.
